DIALOGUE - Scientific communication

An exclusif program for strategic research clusters like CentrEau

2021 contest closed. Next contest in the Fall 2022.

An opportunity for PhD students and postdoctoral fellows of CentrEau

Are you a good communicator? The Fonds de recherche du Québec (FRQ) just launched the third edition of the DIALOGUE program, which aims to stimulate activities in scientific communication with the general public by doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows.

This program gives you access to a one-year budget of $ 5,000 for all kinds of expenses: attend trainings, travel, open a YouTube channel, make a video, start a blog, and more. This is not a scholarship, but it is an EXCELLENT asset for your CV and there will be a lot of communications/visibility around you organized by the FRQ. 12 students will be chosen in the whole province of Quebec, and regroupements stratégiques can each refer one student.

To participate

Send your application to us, by October 1st, 2021 at 4:00 pm. CentrEau will then chose one student among the received applications and forward the name of the chosen CentrEau student member to the FRQ by Oct. 7, and that student will have until December 1st to provide the documents requested by the FRQ.

Your application must include:

  • A one-year science communication action plan (2 pages maximum), including a strategy with objectives and means to reach a well-defined target audience. Highlight how your project fits with CentrEau's activities and scientific program.
  • A CV covering training, research achievements and experience in scientific communication
