Specialized Conference | Resilience of Water Services

To be sustainable, water services must be resilient to manage acute and chronic disturbances. Water services are subject to many challenges that can be both natural and man-made. These challenges include floods, earthquakes, influx of refugees and evacuees, droughts, sea level rise, climate change, declining customer base, energy crisis, changing workforce, aging infrastructure and pandemics.

This 7th edition of the specialized conference will explore ways to make water services more resilient. The conference program has been made with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in mind, and will highlight water-related refugee and evacuee issues as well as responses to pandemics.
