Our regular member researcher Marie-Amélie Boucher is looking for a post-doctoral fellow in partnership with the MELCCFP for a period of one year. This internship focuses on the assimilation of snow in the Hydrotel hydrological model.
A spatialized particle filter has been developed to assimilate several types of snow observations (GMON, manual surveys, SR50) into the Hydrotel snow module. This new phase of the project seeks to determine if this improved snow representation can be translated into better streamflow simulations for rivers in southern Quebec.
