On May 17, 2022, the Canadian Section of the International Association of Hydrogeologists awarded the Robert N Farvolden Prize to René Therrien, interim Director of CentrEau and Full Professor and Director of the Department of Geology and Geological Engineering at Université Laval.
This award honors each year a researcher who has made an outstanding contribution to the role and importance of groundwater through an earth science or engineering discipline.
