Interests
- It is estimated that the climatic changes observed during the 20th century will be accentuated according to the season and the geographic setting. Quebec will be no exception. These changes could increase the intensity or frequency of certain phenomena, such as flooding. In Canada, flooding is the most common natural hazard nationwide. Shedding light on the determinants of the adaptation of people at risk could help create more specific interventions aimed at promoting good adaptation of the population to this issue, which will increase as the effects of climate change worsen will feel.
