The work of the CentrEau-COVID team recognized worldwide

In the framework of the CentrEau-COVID project for the monitoring of the SARS-CoV-2 virus through wastewater, the work of the team on the development of the structured data model of COVID-19 data by wastewater, called the "Open Data Model" (ODM), was adopted by the European Community during the 5th Town Hall meeting of the ‘EU Sewage Sentinel System for SARS-CoV-2’ on July 7 Indeed, the collaboration between the team of prof. Peter Vanrolleghem and his collaborators Thomas Maere, Niels Nicolaï and Jean-David Therrien, and the research team of Prof. Douglas Manuel of the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, has been wonderful and vital to the success of the project - the ODM is now positioned to be the data model used worldwide.
